Mark has 30 years’ experience in software development in banking and insurance, oil and gas, and the public sector.

He has spent a decade working on high-performance scientific programs running on supercomputers for the oil industry.

Mark works with ABGi UK clients, in scientific and engineering software, mobile application development and big data, in preparing and submitting R&D tax relief claims.


For over 20 years Professor James Orwell has been working in Computer Science. His main area of research is in Computer Vision and Video Surveillance; he also has a track record in mobile applications, security, and video analysis of sports, &

development of international standards. He has experience in software development projects, having successfully managed a number of them. 

Kingston University’s contributions to three European Projects (INMOVE, CARETAKER and ADDPRIV), and the University’s transfer of knowledge to several firms through Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) such as Ipsotek, Pharos, Infoshare, Globe Microsystems, DeltaTre, Entryphone and his most recent with Instinet.

Andrew is a graduate of the University of Durham. He joined the firm as Head of Corporate and Commercial, possessing almost 20 years’ experience in Corporate and Commercial Law, Real Estate Finance and Real Estate matters in general. Andrew was an award Winner of INTL Southern England Corporate Firm of 2015. On July 1st 2018, Andrew joined the partnership of JPC Law.

Andrew’s experience is broad however he has particular expertise in tier one transactional matters including Mergers, Acquisitions and Disposals of Corporate entities, Management Buy-Outs and Joint Ventures. His ‘cross border’ experience has seen him assist clients on transactions in the United States, the Middle East and the Far East. Andrew is also experienced with corporate lending including the Leasing of Corporate Financial Instruments,

Collateralisation and Securitisation and various forms of Facility Agreements, Corporate and Personal Guarantees, Charges and Corporate Securities.

In addition to transactional matters Andrew has a broad experience of other corporate contexts including Distribution and Agency agreements, Outsourcing and Facilities Management, IT (to include Software Agreements, Licensing, Framework Agreements, Managed Services Agreements and Site Development Agreements), Shareholder Agreements, Partnership matters, Company-Buy Backs and general Corporate Administration to include Company Secretarial Work. Andrew combines his Corporate and Commercial expertise with broad Real Estate experience, both residential and commercial to include advising clients on the sales of commercial property as well as banks and lenders concerning corporate finance matters.

Tracey Westell MCICM, has been in credit management for over 28 years, and in this time has wealth of experience in many industry sectors including blue chip, public and private sectors.

An active member of the Kent Branch CICM and committee, winner of the Businesswoman of the year award in Ashford in 2018 as well as nominated as a finalist at the Credit Strategy ‘Woman of the Year’ awards 2019.


Tracey is a keen and passionate advocate of credit management and her knowledge of the importance of cash flow and managing business ‘pain points’ has been her business mission.  Tracey is hands-on in meeting with SME’s and Corporates of all industry sectors, to ensure they have the right fitting processes and policies as well as delivering various training, workshops, talks and seminars throughout the UK. Johnny Pawlik is the Founder and Global Managing Director of Mantra Media and Atelier Japan.

A seasoned marketing strategist and international agency director, with over 19 years of experience in marketing and communications.

He has been a guest on Good Morning Britain, the BBC Political Debates, BBC Radio, Osaka Radio, and other television documentary programs. He's consulted with the European Parliament, British Members of Parliament, the NHS, the board of Opera North, Australian Federal Government, the Japanese Government, Leeds City Council, Sheffield City Council, the UKTI and a plethora of others. His digital strategies have been implemented by the public, governmental, private and charity sectors around the world.

Johnny is also a keynote speaker and often delivers talks on international communications, branding, the psychology of online communications and social mobility. 


Marzio Grasso CEng MIMechE, PhD, MSc, FHEA, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II where he also received a PhD in Engineering of Materials and Structures.

He is a Senior Lecturer at Kingston University and over the past 10 years he has been involved in several research projects on fatigue and fracture of metallic and composite materials, crashworthiness, full-scale testing and advanced numerical simulation funded by EU, Innovate UK and Italian Ministries. He has also worked with companies (among which Ansaldo Breda (Leonardo) and Italian Railway Infrastructure) in the structural dynamics area.

He is currently collaborating with Universities in the UK and overseas (US, Czech Republic and Japan) on recycling of polymers for additive manufacturing and Very High Cycle Fatigue. The current involvement with industry is on the design of smart systems for the service monitoring of trailers and freight wagons, design of composite structure for railway overhead lines and Re-Engineering of Electric Locomotive with Energy Storage Systems for Freight Application. 

He is an active reviewer for more than 15 journals edited by Elsevier, MDPI, Taylor&Francis and Emerald Insight.
